Chester Athletic Hays & Bee's played in the North Tyneside Youth International football tournament at Churchill playing fields in Whitley Bay between the 1st-4th August. In the tournament Chester Bee's had four 7/aside games in three days in there first game they played Lumley Ladies but sadly lost the game 4-1 with the Bee's only goal coming from Kristen. In Thursdays game the bee's played a draw 1-1 against Wearmouth Girls once again Chesters only goal came from Kriston. Into Friday and the bee's played Newcastle United juniors and they won the game 2-1 with Kristen scored both goals which took the Bee's into the quarter finals against Wearmouth Whites the score was 1-1 at full time and after extra time so the game went to penalties which sadly the Bee's lost the shootout 4-3.
In the tournament Chester Hays played 11/aside the played three games in the group stage over three days the first of the group games played on the Wednesday was against Cramlington Girls and the Hays won the game 10-0 with goals from Keira 2, Suzanne 2,Robyn 2, Kayleigh 1, Katie 1 Sarah and a OG. In the second game on Thursday the Hays played Wallend Girls which they won 12-1 with goals from Charlotte 3, Keira 2, Jade 2, Ashdon 2, Kayleigh 2, and Suzanne 1. On the friday we played our friends from North Shields Juniors and Chester won the game 9-0 and the Chester goals came from Keira 2, Robyn 2, Suzanne 2, Charlotte 1, Katie 1, and Ashdon 1 and the three wins took the Hays into the final of the tournament.
In the final Chester Hays Played Wallsend Girls which was played at Whitley Bay Football Ground and the great news is that Chester Athletic U/13 Girls became champions of the U/14 Cup winning the final 9-0 and the Chester Goals came from Kayleigh 2, Jade 1, Suzanne 1, Courtney 1 and Charlotte 4 goals, Charlotte was also named player of the match and she was also player of the match in the other three games aswell.
